Civilization IV Support
Okay. So I've been thinking about setting up Tactical Gamer to support CIV IV.
It's a highly tactial game that I think many of our members would really enjoy. The support system would be similar to what we do for World of Warcraft. We can supply forums, discussions, strategy, tactics, etc.
I think we could also set up a pretty nifty ladder on Tactical Conflict for it as well.
How many of you would be interested?

Re: Civilization IV Support
Amazingly, I ended up at the game's site and couldn't answer this question for myself. Either that's one over-glossed site or I'm just an idiot who can't read:
This is third-person strategy, right? Is it real-time or turn-based?Steam Community? Add me. | Join #tacticalgamer | Search Results Legend | New Posts Forum Filter | Postbox Toggle | Live Thread Review | One Line Results | Free Remote, Encrypted Backup
Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Civilization IV Support
Does anyone know how Civ IV is going to handle airplanes and helicopters? Like Civ II, like Civ III or something new?

Haha, I read this and I thought you were starting a support group for those of us that want the game so much, but can't get it because it's not quite out yet.
I'm semi-interested; I say semi because I doubt I'll ever play multiplayer or participate in the ladder.
Oh, and I really hope they do better with helicopters and paratroopers in this version. Two of the most useless units in Civ3.

Fun, fun and more fun. But do not be selfish. Provide some fun and you will receive some fun.

Re: Civilization IV Support
Civ 2 was the shizzle. Never really played 3. Wasn't 3 not even made by Miers?
