Re: Ex-Military and Ex-Law Enforcement TGers

Israel Defense Force (IDF) Infantry Combat Platoon Sergeant.
3 years active duty including 1 year combat in Lebanon.
Currently in reserves for 40 days per year (untill I am 40!!) as a platoon Sgt stationed in Ramallah (a fun town filled to the brim with America and Israel haters.)
I also volunteer with the Israel Border Police, protecting the southern Jerusalem border from infiltration.

So does that mean you currently live (and work) in Israel... or America?

Re: Ex-Military and Ex-Law Enforcement TGers

I'm just a civ.

Much respect to those who serve and served.

At this point, I somewhat regret it, though I still could enlist if I wanted... I just know I won't. Mixed feelings about it.

Re: Ex-Military and Ex-Law Enforcement TGers

US ARMY 3.5 years
1 year Korea
2 years Germany

13F "Forward Observer" I called in fires from the big guns.
Carried a SAW M249. Very fun shooter. BF2 doesn't do it justice. AA gets it right.
(except for the insane accuracy firing in"aim" mode standing up, yeah right.)
