Is that the sequel to F.E.A.R.? From now on, all game titles need lots of .'s In fact, I propose we rename the site to T.A.C.T.I.C.A.L. G.A.M.E.R. and then task some poor newbie with crowbaring some words into the backronym.

In the console world, Zelda: Twilight Princess and Final Fantasy XII are both due out next year.

Armed Assault?! OFP 2. Armed Assault is only OFP 1.5.

OFP 1.5 is good enough for me. Going to get OFP2 as well.

Isn't armed assault made by the same people that did OFP? Cause if so, I'd rather have than than OFP 2 since that means that OFP 2 will be done by different people and probably not be as good.

Re: Most anticipated game for 2006?

BI is doing both games. They're releasing Armed Assault first to hold us over until they finish with OFP2. Unfortunately, CodeMasters aren't the publishers anymore so BI can't call it OFP2. It's the same reason this upcoming release is called Armed Assault.

There is a good reason for that.....I remember seeing a less than glowing preview of an early build about a year ago, and after that, the developers shut the heck up. I can't remember where it was...IGN/Gamespy probably.

Ghost Recon 3 & Empires at War. Killzone 2 if it is as good as they say it will be.

HL2:Aftermath looks promising. I don't see UT2k7 getting released in 2006. I'll be getting the new Source-based They Hunger. (I loved the original.)
