I'll have to admit that I'm completely clueless as to why everyone is so rabid to get one of these accounts? I've got several email addresses already, why would I need another?

It's the best webmail out there and some people want to get their screen name before it's open to the public and someone else grabs it... It truly is an excellent way to manage your email. If I could only have one email account, this would be it. It's the first time I've ever thought webmail is better than traditional email.

At first glance gmail seems to be efficient, simple, with some nice functionalities. It will be interesting to see what is added/changed in the future.
