I'm currently living in Austin, but I'll be moving to San Antonio later this month. My bro is a student at UT though so I could stay at his place for a while.

Don't let Beatnik's and my fondness for barleypops make you think that we have to be drinking no matter what we do. A couple beers/sodas while we BBQ is just kinda what I had in mind as a fun way to get to know each other.

Do you mean instead of Katz's? That's cool with me if it's cool with everyone else. I just know that I'm going to be driving in from Houston after work and probably won't get there until 9:30 or 10p so....... if y'all want to meet somewhere earlier for dinner or whatnot, that's fine but I won't be there. Uggg 7 hour drive. Probably 9, the way I always get stuck in D/FW traffic.

Friday the 13th, I have to go chop some wood with my dad/brother till dusk (weather depending).

Though maybe I could come down Sat. morning in time for the BBQ.

Anybody else from OKC or Tulsa going to this thing? Perhaps we could work something out.

On a side note, if you go bowling on Sunday, count me out. My best game ever was only like a 55. Paintballing would be cool though, I have my own marker and I could bring my brother's for somebody.

P.s. I've been missing everyone since my sabbatical -- but getting ready for a three week "vacation" in Denmark has been keeping me BUSY! I hope to be back in-game after the first of the year! Keep BF2 alive until then!

For interest's sake (and sorta out of boredom) I figured out how much it'd cost for me to get there. For the bargain price of 2,299.15 USD (+ $22) I can be there, not including accomodation

If 13 of you guys are going, that's only $176.85 apiece. You know you want to!
