I find Windows 2000/2003 are fine platforms for most things. Linux is better from a resources point of view but its hard to beat MS Development tools and integration. If I am going to do anythign hardcore I would probably go with UNIX. I know thats what we run Medicaid on, big iron Sun boxes.
