As a (soon to be) alumnus of the University of Texas, I'm rooting for Texas and the Big12 to win all of their bowl games. Yes, that includes OU as painful as it is to admit.

I really hope UT blows out the University of Spoiled Children so that the media can stop their obsession with that team and region.

* who i think will win

Rooting for:

New Orleans Bowl
Southern Miss (6-5)
vs. Arkansas State (6-5)
** don't know, don't really care

GMAC Bowl
UTEP* (8-3)
vs. Toledo (8-3)
**I like UTEP to win this one

Las Vegas Bowl
BYU (6-5)
vs. California* (7-4)
** I don't like either team, but I respect UC as a quality institution.

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl (whew.. mouthful)
Colorado State (6-5)
vs. Navy* (7-4)
** Gotta love the beauty of the option play

Fort Worth Bowl
Kansas (6-5)
vs. Houston* (6-5)
** I think KU's [lack of] offense will give the edge to UH

Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
Nevada (8-3)
vs. UCF (8-4)
** I've only seen Nevado play, no clue

Motor City Bowl
Memphis (6-5)
vs. Akron (7-5)
** dunno

Champs Sports Bowl
Clemson (7-4)
vs. Colorado* (7-5)
** If Colorado plays like they did earlier in the season, they'll win. I think they'll find some fire and pride.

Insight Bowl
Arizona State (6-5)
vs. Rutgers (7-4)
** dunno

MPC Computers Bowl
Boise State (9-3)
vs. Boston College* (8-3)
** BC has looked more impressive

Alamo Bowl
Michigan* (7-4)
vs. Nebraska (7-4)
** I like both teams but I think Michigan has more weapons

Emerald Bowl
Georgia Tech* (7-4)
vs. Utah (6-5)
** depends on which GT team shows up

Holiday Bowl
Oregon (10-1)
vs. Oklahoma* (7-4)
** dirt burglar running game will control the tempo

Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl
Minnesota* (7-4)
vs. Virginia (6-5)
** just a hunch

Vitalis Sun Bowl
Northwestern* (7-4)
vs. UCLA (9-2)
** Northwestern in an upset. UCLA has no D

Independence Bowl
South Carolina* (7-4)
vs. Missouri (6-5)
** Heart says MU but head picks USC. MU has yet to play to its potential

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
Miami (9-2)
vs. LSU (10-2)
** I dislike both teams, but I gotta go w/ LSU over Criminal U

Meineke Car Care Bowl
South Florida (6-5)
vs. NC State (6-5)
** dunno

AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Tulsa (8-4)
vs. Fresno State (8-4)
** FSU wins a close one as long as Pinegar doesn't have too many brain farts

EV1.net Houston Bowl
TCU (10-1)
vs. Iowa State* (7-4)
** Although the Big12 is weak, ISU is a bit more battle-tested

AT&T Cotton Bowl
Texas Tech* (9-2)
vs. Alabama (9-2)
** I like both programs, but my cousin is a grad student at TTU. Gotta go w/ family loyalties. Out of conference teams usually have a tough time handling TTU's offense.

Outback Bowl
Iowa (7-4)
vs. Florida* (8-3)
** Iowa hasn't impressed me this season

Toyota Gator Bowl
Louisville* (9-2)
vs. Virginia Tech (10-2)
** I'd like to see the rapist's team lose

Capital One Bowl
Wisconsin (9-3)
vs. Auburn* (9-2)
** Auburn has had more impressive victories IMO

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl
Notre Dame (9-2)
vs. Ohio State* (9-2)
** ND has only beaten something like 3 winning teams this yr and I hope they get exposed. As much as I hate the Pac10, Oregon deserved the BCS bid. I'd also like to hear the media excuses after they lose.

Nokia Sugar Bowl
West Virginia (10-1)
vs. Georgia* (10-2)
** Georgia wins big

FedEx Orange Bowl
Penn State (10-1)
vs. Florida State (8-4)
** I generally dislike any team on the east or west coast due to the attention and hype they get. And PSU basically runs the Texas offense.

The Rose Bowl
USC (12-0)
vs. Texas* (12-0)
** I hope UT beats the living crap out of USC. The game will be won in the trenches by the lines.
