Re: Battleground Europe out...
I played it for a few months. I thought it was great. Graphics needed some updating. But the scale of the game is huge. The game need a certain amount of patience. No just jumping on to the server and layin down lead. The map is huge like magnum said and there is a quite a bit of strategy being used at different levels. It is a very slow paced game at times action can sometimes be hard to find. Things like resuplying, massing of material at strategic points, ordering offensive and defensive action all go on at the command level. New players start out as grunts who find unit they would like to join. Most people are very helpfull in showing new players the ropes as it makes the game so much better.
If one has the time its a great epic. Hope that some day more large scale online game like this one will be avaliable. |
