Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
Ok guys, I think for starting out at least, we need to keep the player count to 4 plus the DM, but I encourage anyone who is interested in this at all to attend the meeting we have planned tonight. We will be discussing:
1) Determine players (maybe this is not fair for the people who posted earlier, as the meeting was on fairly short notice)
2) Choose DM
3) Identify available dates and times
4) Plan date and time for next meeting
5) Test different programs for online tabletop
6) Decide on TS or Skype
7) Make characters, and play (possibly)

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
Does everyone have an idea of what character they want to play?

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
Ok I have two characters Im thinking about.
1. The Wizard that Vegeet helped me make about 2 days ago, so I could better understand the game.
2. Possibly a rogue
Also I now have all the standard rules books ( Players handbook 3.5, DM guide 3.5 and Monster Manual 3.5) in a .pdf format for quick referencing!

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
Put me on this list of possibles. But I'd need to know more about the campaign setting before I give anything concrete.
I own a good chunk of the old 2nd edition handbooks, along with a few specialist books.
Been PnP RPGing since my brother let me play Star Frontiers with his group when I was around 6. Granted, at that age it was more of cursory gaming than anything.
We (5 friends of mine) started our first D&D group at around the age of 12 and played solid up until Junior year in High School. Granted, later on we were playing much more Shadowrun, until we had a great Planescape campaign.
I can play just about any character well, but after playing D&D for so long, I prefer something a little "off-the-wall." I like characters that don't fit into some stereotype and that add drama into a group. Whether you want something like that or not would be up to the group.

As i posted earlier, we will meet in the community channel, then move to an empty channel.
Sorry in advance: I might be a little late for the meeting, so give me a few minutes and then go ahead and start it.veh-JEET

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
Ok All who wish to participate in this D&D game needs to be on TS for a meeting on Saturday the 21st at 8:30pm Eastern Time, in the Default Community Channel. If you aren't there then your spot may be filled. Those that have registerd on the forums have priority, however, you need to be there to secure your spot, we plan to start playing on that date. If you would like to make a character before Saturday, then you will need to contact me or TheVegeet. All characters must be verified by one of us. We will be using new characters.

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
I'd love to get involved, but I don't have the bandwidth right now to do it. I can't really commit to 3 hours straight for pen and paper (or any other) gaming.

Re: Dungeons & Dragons sign up
So who do we need to contact to get a TS channel? Also, could someone else take care of this, as it would be weird for a non-SM like myself to ask.
