Re: TG Banners!
I don't place "graphics work" in what I'd call my "talents column," but I had fun making this. Someone cooler than me could probably do more with the idea.
It should be noted that all I did was take and crop screenshots of the forums masthead, which displays the TG text and the many game images and was arranged by Apophis. That is, I didn't create anything you see. I just shoved it together in an animation and threw the "Here's how this works"/etc text after it.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: TG Banners!
I was wondering if any of you major graphically talented folks might be willing to take a stab at creating some signature TG banners for TG's World of Warcraft players.
I've been impressed by the banners you've done for the tactical shooters and other FPS games, so I know there are some capable graphical artists. On the other hand, tanks and sniper rifles and dogtags don't quite resonate with the fantasy swordplay and sorcery MMORPG world typified by World of Warcraft.
My contribution to the concept is that there are 8 classes: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Druid, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Rogue. One iteration for each class within a TG frame (?!) would be great.
If this isn't the right place to put up such a request, then I'll happily take direction to another thread somewhere.

I'm posting something that I did for you guys in the WoW forum now. It's a knock-off of the modular sigs that we use for Battlefield 2 but designed for WoW enthusiasts. You can use them if you like, or someone can use the concept to do something better!

I'm really into fantasy stuff and the like (and played WC3 for ages ), so I'll see if I can whip something feasible up when I have the time.

Re: TG Banners!
While I had a few minutes to spare, I cracked this out. Homework time! I'll improve/add/etc later... suggestions are always welcome, of course. Keep in mind it's more of a draft than anything else!
(click banner for my inspiration from WC3!)
And just cause I was really bored...

Re: TG Banners!
I really like that second one, Poe, but the silver against the fog, while cool-looking, is hard to read.
And as I mentioned in the thread in the WoW General forum, it would be nifty to have ribbons for this game, too!
