I haven't missed an episode yet! I can't speculate on what might happen. I bet the writers/directors/producers don't know what is going to happen...they are just writing as they go. Wasn't it originally slated as a mini-series? A co-worker and I were joking about how as soon as the ratings fall all the survivors will suddenly be rescued, with no mention of the island and leaving all those questions unanswered...that's not a funny joke.

They do a pretty good job of covering key things that happened in the first season if it happens to have any input into the episode, but you're right. Sometime I'll rent the whole thing and watch it.

I went out and bought the 1st season before the begining of this season and I watched all 6 Disks in 1 weekend!!!!! LOL

I must admit, this is by far the best series ever.
I just love a show that makes you think ... not just throwing episodes together for the hell of it ...

My theory is that they are all in PURGATORY and need to come to terms with what they did in the past before they move on.

Let's face it, The plane was at 30-40,000 feet when it started going down .... if that were real .. when it would have hit the grough there wouldn't have been anything left of it but, they walk away with minore cuts and brusies.

Look at John Locke, before the crash he was in a wheelchair, then the plane crashes and all the sudden, he gets up and he can walk !!!!

Think about it ...

I thought the producers said publicly they are not dead and didn't time travel. Oddly those are the most feasable ideas.

I also seem to remember the producers/writers admitting that they actually had no idea what the island is, or where the castaways really are. They're just kinda making it up as they go along

There are certain references in a few episodes that would make it seem that they were in the future or quite a bit of time has passed by.

For instance, Jack's plane ticket was dated 2009.
There was a screen shot of this from the first season, If I can find it i will post it here.
There were a few other references that, if I find the links for them i will post 'em.

There was one reference when Kate went to visit her Father in the recruiting office and when he was stating that he was in Korea and when Kate was born up until the time kate was on the island would have made her like 75 years old and MAN! .... if kate is 75 years old, I sure hope my wife looks like that when she is that old!!! LOL


Like I said, i will search for those links today and when I find them I will post them.

Don't these guys have to write a season at a time? They have to finish shooting an entire season before they put it on air don't they? I'm not sure, but if that's the case then at least they know season to season what they're going for

So for the folks that are overseas, do the iPod stores offer the new season 2 episodes up for download yet?

On the BONUS DVD that was in with the FIRST SEASON they interviewed J.J. ABRAMS and he said taht he had the first 3 season's written already.

As far as the episode with the plane ticket .... i will look it up and post the screenshot here ...

Guys there are SOOOOO many thing s in the episodes that you don't realize until you go back and go over it ....

As i find things again .. I will post them here ....
