Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

I treat a racing game as a serious sim. So I want a racing sim that expects a serious attitude.

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

Got this game yesterday and played a couple of hours - simply awesome. I haven't tried it online, but if it performs like the single player, it will be a blast.

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

I also have been interested in this game on account of all the reviews it has been recieving. I do enjoy a good racing game, when I need a break from all the carnage on the battlefield. I picked it up yesterday, but have yet to play it. Ill get back to you with my thoughts.

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

For those of you in Canada, and The U.S who have picked up the game it appears many copies have been produced without the "Online" key on the back of the manual. This is not the key used for starforce. Although I have not played online yet....geez I can hardly navigate with just AI.....my copy is one that is missing the online key. If you are missing the key you need to e-mail the company, and they will send you a key. The following link will provide you with some info.

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

Hey all,

So I guess nothing is going to happen with GTL here?? That's a shame..what a truly great sim.
Hopefully others will try it!!

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

I picked up GTL today at Best Buy for $20, seemed like a good deal.

I'm not a real NASCAR fan, but funny thing about NASCAR 2003 (from Papy) is that it really is an amazingly fun and challenging sim. On a fluke I bummed it off a friend to try out with my wheel and got quickly addicted to it.

In fact if anyone has a copy they dont want I would love to buy it as my buddy wont give up his lol!!

Racing is boring =P Much more fun to play WOW or a Firstperson Tactical Shooter!

Re: Interested in GT Legends racing game?

Amazon took 27 days to ship me my copy which I installed last night and got through the first Cup challenge. It really is the best driving game I've ever played. Even with the crappy mini-cooper it's still fun.

It sounds like you have to actually "level up" with cars even to play online. In other words if you can only drive the Mini in your SP game then that's what you can drive on-line. I'm going to try some pub racing tonight and see it that's true.

By the way the game is beautiful even on my medium spec pc. Lot's of fun.

EDIT: err, after I get an e-mail back from Tim with my online key

That is true, and you can also win credits in MP. Although it doesnt mean as much since there is an unlock out there that gives it all.

I tried it late last night on the RSC server using the Cortina (since I didnt use the unlock) and came in first only because I was the only one to finish the race lol.

Unfortuneatly I also got a taste of the immature griefers that only want to wreck.

I picked up the SWAT4 add on today, and there was GT Legends, also for the $20....but I couldn't remember if this was the game you were all talking about.

Looks real interesting.
