A SETI reminder
I couldn't find the last thread so that I could just bump it, but I wanted to remind everyone that we have a SETI@home team that everyone can join: http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/s...am_112391.html
NEW ADDRESS: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/creat...p?teamid=30988
SETI@home is a distributed computing network dedicated to searching for alien intelligence. You can participate by downloading and installing a client that will then grab chunks of raw data from SETI's database, process it, and then return the results to the database. This is all done with the unused portion of your computer's processing power. It's really very slick, and I don't understand why more people don't have it running, or why people have stopped running it. It doesn't interfere with anything and it won't slow your computer down.Last edited by CingularDuality; 07-21-2005 at 04:30 AM.

Re: A SETI reminder
I was planning on installing it on every computer here, but I forgot about it a while back..... my numbers should start climbing soon.

No I won't. Found seti.org, but unless I'm really missing the obvious, I can't find a download link.
