Natural Selection is a Half-Life mod (HL1, not HL2).

When you're new to the server, go OUT OF YOUR WAY to make sure you've got a solid microphone (if you have a microphone -- not required, but preferred) and tell them that you're NEW. The game IS _very_ fast-paced, but regulars do and WILL help you learn if you simply tell them you're new and set their expectations appropriately.

no its a DM mod for the original half life. Alls you need is the half life 1 and you can install NS over it

Dystopia is getting pretty busy now. Its a HL2 mod that really is different from anything else out there. How many games let you hack "tron" style to help your team? And its free.

ok... i DL the CSS from my steam account, and i was playing on some pub servers, how do i get on a TG server?

still no luck on finding the reg HL discs

my mic is 100% and yes, i was very noob the first few matches (team killing, self killing)

With guns. Claymore mines are not filled with yummy candy, and it is wrong to tell new soldiers that they are. 101. I am not allowed to mount a bayonet on a crew-served weapon.
