Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
I would suspect that the ones that hear the music are the final five. They are also probably going to spin it as they were created by originators of the 13 colonies and thus not really cylons. That would make cylons more natural than machine in this evolutionary process. Beyond that I don't know what they'll do. That's just a wild guess.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
I read an interview somewhere where the producer Ron Moore said that those 4 are cylons and we may find out who the last one is next season.
He also has a series called Caprica that they are trying to get SCIFI to pick up. It takes place Battlestar Galactica takes place. Sounds interesting.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
I watched BSG week after week before but somehow missed a few episodes during Baltar's trial and lost track all together.
Looking forward to the new season though ^_^

For those who need to catch up, here's an 8 minute recap of the entire series so far.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
How sad is it that it was a year between new eps of BSG?

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
Not sad at all. It gives me time to catch up on other things. I hate it when my TiVo fills faster than I can process it.
This season hasn't been bad for SF. Journeyman and Terminator were both enjoyable series. The comic genre has also been reasonable, with Heroes and Lost.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
Whaaaa...?
No comments on the season premier yet? *SPOILER ALERT* I thought it was bully, just bully! The opening space battle was one of the finest in Sci-fi history, what with Sam getting the retina scan by the cylon raider, and Tigh shooting Adama in the eyeball. Although as someone pointed out, the destruction of the Pixus means more algae for the rest of us... I'm almost certain now that the final cylon is Roslin. She has now attempted to marginalize/eliminate/manipulate anyone who could be a threat to her position. She took away Athena's baby to try and get her to distrust humans. Fail. She attempted to rig an election. Fail. She tried to get Baltar executed. Fail. She tried to get Adama and Lee to turn against each other during Baltar's trial, which ultimately failed. Now she's trying the old cylon-siren trick of seduction to try and manipulate Adama, plus she's the one taking the fleet in the opposite direction of where Starbuck wants to take them. I think Starbuck has a "gift", but I don't think she's a cylon. I think Roslin knows this, and it scares the bejesus out of her. I'm also apt to believe the "vision" Caprica 6, Athena, and Roslin share with the baby in the opera house is a portend of internecine warfare amongst the cylons, if indeed Roslin is one of them... That is all. Back to work, people... |

Re: Battlestar Galactica Watchers?
Roslin's visions could be a combination of the hallucinogenic drugs and the cyclon blood transfusion linking her to Sharon and Caprica's visions. Or there might be something to the growing spirtuality of Baltar and his head-Six, and events are being manipulated by some Cylon "God" or the gods of the colonies. The original Battlestar series was rife with time-travel and energy being and all manner of soft sci-fi whatnot. It's possible that the new series goes in that direction, but I kind of hope not.
