Battlestar Galactica Watchers? - Page 8

I'm not sure when it happened or why, but somewhere along the line I just lost interest. I have my DVR setup to record it, but I never remember it's on and need constant prodding from a coworker to watch it so he can talk about it. I am interested in who the final model is though...

Probably after they got off New Caprica. The show lost a lot of its old focus and charm during the second half of the third season.

I have enjoyed this season and presumably the last season. It's really starting to round out.

This last episode was pretty intense. Worth watching!

I've got last night's episode on the TiVo, waiting for me to get to it among all the other season finales. (Last night I watched the Smallville finale.)

The end of the season is a great thing for me: It means more time to game!

While I'll agree the show hit a slump around New Caprica, it is now roaring back onto the scene full force. I'd go so far as to say it hasn't been this good since the first season. If you've let the series gather dust, I'd recommend picking it back up now. I don't usually shout at my television, but when I watched last night's episode this morning, I'm sure my neighbours must have thought I'd lost it.

While this season has rekindled a bit of interest in the show for me, I still find myself forgetting it's on or that it even taped.

Should we take guesses as to who the fifth is, if we know the character or if it will be a new addition to the show when unveiled, if unveiled?

I think speculation is pointless, as BSG has been notorious about pulling the audience in completely unexpected directions, for good or ill. Starbuck is the obvious choice, but they've gone to a lot of trouble to present her as a red herring. Whether they flip that back on itself and reveal her as being the 5th after all, or something different - we'll just have to wait and see.

I do like the fact that the last episode had 2 "dying leaders". Undermining Rosyln's destined status even as she descends into self martyrdom has been one of the triumphs of this season, IMO.

Awesome episode for sure. Now we all get to sit back and wait SEVEN FREAKING MONTHS for the final revelation! Sci-fi has said that the show will not resume until 2009.
