FSW: Ten Hammers ships to stores...
FYI, new release... orginally posted at www.wargamer.com
THQ has today announced that the long anticipated tactical squad-based game, Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers, has shipped to stores across North America for the PC and major consoles. Described as an innovative shooting title that set the pace for "realistic military squad-based combat," the Pandemic developed title comes as a sequel to 2004's Full Spectrum Warrior (review). This next incarnation of the series has added all new real-world military tactics, a greater variety of squads to command and a bigger arsenal of weapons, in addition to "a new innovative online multiplayer competitive mode." Here's a bit about the sequel as it relates to the original game's style of gameplay: As squad leader, players coordinate the actions of multiple infantry fire teams, leading them through a variety of hostile environments. An intuitive control scheme allows direction of squads in real-time as players outthink, outmaneuver and outgun enemies through more than 12 levels of intense warfare. Players will utilize authentic combat tactics as they battle the enemy with a deadly arsenal of weapons, the latest military equipment, and new player-controlled mechanized units. With an all-new multiplayer mode, players can go online and battle friends through a variety of objective-based missions. Get more information from FullSpectrumWarrior.com. |

Re: FSW: Ten Hammers ships to stores...
This game is touted as a "Featured Game" on the main TG homepage.. Yet, we don't have the demo up for download, don't have a forum or server for it, and the people that played the demo said it was crappy. What makes it a featured game?

Re: FSW: Ten Hammers ships to stores...
I downloaded it last week played it for an hour, and then went back to my Counter Strike...that should give you some indication how good it is
It is ALOT like the first one, but more difficult to control...Just my 2 cents![]()
