    I work at the Market Basket distribution center. For those who dont know what a Market Basket is, its basically a grocery store chain in and around MA... anyway. My job is simple, I load the trucks that restock the stores.

    I start at part time (but I still work 40 hours). I get 11.50 and hour, if my work improves I get switched over to full time, With that I get full get benefits and get a raise to 12.75 an hour.

    Look higher, take a few buisness courses at a local college and go for management. Management is easy at those types of stores.


    BTW, you must live close, I know of 2 MBs in my area.

    LOL I have 2 MB's on the same damn street. Not even kidding, both of them are on Main St. (Route 38). One is on the Lowell\Tewksbury line the other is in Tewksbury. I would say they are about 6, maybe 7 miles away from each other. The one in Tewksbury is better... they sell Rice Bowls... best things since Hot Pockets :P


    Just to clearify, its not a store, its a warehouse. We dont sell the food there, we get it ready to ship to the stores.
