New Forum Section
Anyone at all interested in a new forum section where people can post new free games they've found that are actually decent. We might even go so far as to add new mods to already exsisting games.
Free Games - Sounds like a great name to me. I've been looking everywhere on the internet for new games that are free and worth playing, but I can't find any. I'm sure that our TG'rs know of some, so either post them in this thread, or give me your opinion on a new forum section based entirely on free software. -Mom

Re: New Forum Section
Yeah, I honestly think a thread could handle this type of thing and we don't need an entire forum section for it.

Re: New Forum Section
Here are a few good free games (This is just the stuff I've got installed now):
All these games except Wesnoth run just fine off a flash drive too, incase you can't install on the computer you want to play on *Cough* Work/School *Cough*

Re: New Forum Section
We played it here in the past but there are so many new people, so in case some people aren't aware of BNT - Black Nova Traders.
http://www.crazybri.net/coolnova/index.php If you play it be prepared to lose several days of your life. Maybe its something to think about bringing back to TG? http://sourceforge.net/projects/blacknova

2. $9 get's you HL2DM, which can be hacked to run dystopia 3. Dystopia itself is free, just like NS is if you happen to own HL1.

Re: New Forum Section
Dystopia will also run on a demo version of HL2 - but I'm not sure how legit this may be. It's a great game, so shell out $9 for HL2 DM.

Re: New Forum Section
Bontago and Armagetron... those are two of my favorite free games. Boy... it's funny how much fun you can get out of stuff without paying a cent (other than Internet access) when with all these games these days it seems like you have to buy something every freaking month to keep up. Oh, Soldat's also fun

Re: New Forum Section
I used to play a side-scrolling (actually more vertical scrolling) motorcycle game at work that was shareware. It was mostly ramps in midair that you had to get just right to avoid obstacles. I want to say it was called BikeMania or something like that, but I thought I'd run it by you all to see if you've heard of it.
