Bell's Oberon... The beer that got me to like beer.

It is a spring/summer seasonal brew native to West Michigan, but has a growing following throughout the mid west....

    Mmmmm... Oberon......

Sam Adams makes quite a few good drinks as well.

Um, is it legal to send beer in the mail?
Because if it's I would love for Drakenviator to send me a couple of cases of various Bells brews.

It looks like they have a "Beer Finder" on the Bell's Brewery Website that lists some of the places that carry their product.

The info in incomplete since they don't list Michigan in the selection despite it being a Michigan company, but maybe there is a place near you.

Man, I was *this* close to going to Germany last week. I had actually boarded the plane for London when my trip was canceled. I was looking forward to having some German bier and wurst. Was going to be staying in Frankfurt or Darmstadt...

    Sigh...

Have you tried their Arrogant Bastard?
Cool. I know that Cali couldn't send me stuff to Texas a couple of months ago.

I've had beer and wine shipped to me in Texas for years...

And I've tried a few of Stone's brews, but I don't like IPAs, or any bitter beer, for that matter.

Pale ales are nice stepping stone to get to IPA's. They have a nice dose of flavour and aroma without nearly as much hop bitterness but definetly more hopy then a lagger or Pilsner.

Just this weekend I tried Wellington Special Pale Ale (a decent example of a pale ale) and gave one to my brother in law who stricly drinks macro lagers. He loved it and drank my 6 pack on me
