Bell's Oberon... The beer that got me to like beer.
It is a spring/summer seasonal brew native to West Michigan, but has a growing following throughout the mid west....
Mmmmm... Oberon......
Sam Adams makes quite a few good drinks as well.

prolly cant get it here is s/w Pa. thats why...
yes ive been trying Sam Adams brews 1 case at a time :P
have to Octoberfest right now its one of their seasonals
next seasonal i try will be their Winter brew which i have heard from
alot of my friends is their best 1. we will see in November when they
ship it out again.

It looks like they have a "Beer Finder" on the Bell's Brewery Website that lists some of the places that carry their product.
The info in incomplete since they don't list Michigan in the selection despite it being a Michigan company, but maybe there is a place near you.

Pale ales are nice stepping stone to get to IPA's. They have a nice dose of flavour and aroma without nearly as much hop bitterness but definetly more hopy then a lagger or Pilsner.
Just this weekend I tried Wellington Special Pale Ale (a decent example of a pale ale) and gave one to my brother in law who stricly drinks macro lagers. He loved it and drank my 6 pack on me
