<----green with envy

I was checking them out yesterday after flying Lomac with the new patch. The gameplay is improved so much in my opinion that now it's my hardware holding me back. But...the joystick must come first.

Re: Placed my order for...

I didn't notice any change from my joystick, other than the settings being at default again, but after tweakin it a bit it flies fine. My joystick is an old afterburner and I need more buttons and accuracy. So, I'm looking at the CH or x45...still reading about them though.

Re: Placed my order for...

Ther only joystick you will ever need: Logitech Freedom 2.4 (Cordless Joystick)
MASSIVE range, dependable, long battery usage, does NOT use infra-red, USES radio. Real good range, get a program and it can be a remote control for your mouse on the desktop (Joytokey), 10 buttons, a throttle, a little thing in the middle that turns 12 different ways, uses 3 AA batteries, It has a twist and a push (twist side to side and pull forward, back, side to side)

Only drawback = Righthanded.. Lefthand COULD work but it looks as if it were designed for right handed.

Re: Placed my order for...

well.. for games like BF1942 and such, it's a great joystick... it's actually a great joystick for my desktop and auto-firing in cs too! :P

Re: Placed my order for...

I got one too. My only two complaints are that the rudder won't quite centre but that seems to be just my stick. Also after a while the stick can get a little stuck, silicon grease will sort that out though - other than that it is a great stick
