Good ol' X-COM: UFO Defense. Although I never actually beat the game, it secreted awesomeness.

my 2nd would probably be unreal tournament for the dreamcast, so many hours spent in that game many years ago now.

Tribes + all the mods, that game kept me entertained for years

Close second would be Amped 2, which still gets played at least 15-30 minutes everyday

Being a new guy to computers and online gaming, all of my favorite games come from Console. NES, Gameboy, SNES, PS, PS2. Too young for atari. P.S. i have never heard of most of the games above. Except for FFVII and Diablo. I have heard of Age of Empires (never played)

Would have to go with Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past (SNES)

Tribes is pretty much where my roots lie. Shortly followed thereafter by the RPG Mod for Tribes, which I hosted a server for a little over a year.

Then there's always Starcraft, I tell you what, If Blizzard would make a World of Starcraft, (Or I suppose It'd have to be "Worlds of Starcraft" due to it's intergalactic aspects.) I'd be all over it, even though I don't even want to try to figure out how it'd work.

Pretty hard to pick a overall favorite, but thinking off the top of my head.

Hero's Quest 1 (aka Quest for Glory) for single player RPG

Everquest 1 before Kunark came out for online RPG

Street Fighter 2 Turbo for SNES for fighting game

X-Wing/Tie Fighter series for flight type sim

Leisure Suit Larry 1 through 3 for general perverted humor gaming

Battlefield 2 for online FPS

Duke Nukem 3D for all time FPS

Goldeneye for console FPS

C&C Red Alert for RTS

Oh and for worst game of all time, off the top of my head....Spelunker for NES, that game was the worst
