More gaming options

OK you flight-sim nuts... as I kinda mentioned in another thread, I have a rekindling interest in flight sim gaming. I dabbled in IL2 Sturmovik, but never played it enough to really get the hang of it. Lack of belonging to a community like TG at the time certainly provided no encouragement to stick with it. So... now that i'm in TG... any recommendations? IL2:FB and Lock On seem to be the hot titles I see around here. What say you sim junkies? I'd love to branch out into more combat gaming realms, but could use some guidance.

I don't qualify as a flight sim nut, but we've had a FB and Lomac server up in the past and I understand those are on the short list of servers to bring up ASAP. I'm with you, couldn't get into IL2 but I've finally taken the training wheels off of Lomac and am totally hooked. Steep learning curve, but there are some good resources out there to help.
