The Electric Sheep (screen saver)

I gotta start off by saying, I've been using this screen saver for 2 years plus or so. I still think its one of the coolest things ever, the idea of your computer downloading these sheep while it sleeps is really neat. I'm sure some of you have heard of this, I suggest this screensaver highly. I just think these are some of the prettiest images that are generated.

Electric Sheep is a free, open source screen saver run by thousands of people all over the world. It can be installed on any ordinary PC or Mac. When these computers "sleep", the screen saver comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as "sheep". The result is a collective "android dream", an homage to Philip K.
