    Fantasy Football Season is just about here!!

    Hey TG'ers !

    This post is for anyone who might be interested in playing a little TG fantasy football this year.

    We would need about 12 players to form league and I will set-up the league through YAHOO SPORTS.

    The cost for to start the league is $125 so If we have 12 players it will be $10.50 per man.

    ( If everyone wanted a prize, we can make the entry fee a little bit more for a GRAND PRIZE to the winner )

    With this league you get all the "ADD-ONS" from the PLUS package and the explaination of these add-ons are here:

    There will be a "LIVE" draft so, it would be best if you were present to pick your team, if you aren't present it will automatically pick the next "TOP RANKED PLAYER AVAILABLE" the next time your turn comes around.

    All thos that are interested, please E-MAIL or PM me to let me know and once we get enough players we will schedule the draft.

    Season starts Sept 5th, 2006

    I just looked at the league rules and it states 10 teams ..... so, This league may be going down to 10 teams which would mean a $12.50 entry fee ....

    If anyone opposes, please let me know.

    If you want a really good FF site check out CBSSportsline.com. You can have up to 14 teams in a league. The price is about the same and the coverage is awesome.

    You can have over 12 teams in Yahoo. But the number of good players starts drying up really quick once you go over that. I've used a few different FF sites over the years and imo Yahoo holds the crown.

    I was just checking out the CBSSPORTSLINE.COM one and it looks pretty good .....
    I also have only used YAHOO for Football and Baseball but the CBS one loks pretty good.

    I was just browsing through the COMMISSIONERS panel and it has a lot more settings.

    The only things being, It would mean a $13.00 entry fee and I must pay for the league by tonight ( 11:59 ET ) to get that price.

    1st off, we need to decide which league ( CBSSPORTSLINE: go here: http://tg2006ff.football.sportsline.com/ ) or the yahoo one.

    And if everyone is ok with the $13.00 entry ( I will pay for the league up front and you guys can PAYPAL or MAIL me the payment )
    I will not hold anyone to an IMMEDIATE payment .
    Since we are all members of TG, I will trust that you will pay me when you have the money but, if you have the money, I would appreciate a prompt payment )

    I am also going to look into a trophy of some sort for the top 3 finishers of the league ( that I will pay for )

    But we need to decide tonight if we are going to use the CBSSPORTSLINE.COM one.

    As of now, we have 8 players with 2 more needed.

    My vote is CBS. The live game coverage is a lot better then Yahoo. You can watch your score vs. your opponents all day not to mention the coverage is sometimes faster than TV.
