Re: Do you answer your cell phone in the bathroom?
NO.. in fact I am so important, I let them leave a message and then decide who to call back later. /sarcasm
But the answer is still no. In fact, I usually won't even interrupt a casual conversation answer while driving.. out of respect for the person I am talking to or the other drivers on the road.
Anyway, if it a project related call, Most people know if they describe what they need to know in the voicemail, I can call them back, ready with the answer - even if it requires research.. otherwise, I have to research it and call them back anyway.
I LOVE/HATE cell phones.

I hate it when people do this. I work at a University, so I always hear some kid at the urinal next to me talking about how rrrriiipped he was last night, brah.

I said yes because i would, but only for one person, and only to say i'd call them back when i was finished... Anyone and everyone else it would have to be a no.

Re: Do you answer your cell phone in the bathroom?
In public? No. But in my own bathroom, yes, all the time. I like to kill three birds with one stone, so to speak.
You gotta be carefully on who you talk to though while in the bathroom. I was talking one time to this girl and she said "Is there an echo in your phone?"

Heh... just saw this and it's ever so relevant.
More cell talkers than I thought... 1 in 5. Good thing the average restroom only has room for 3.

Re: Do you answer your cell phone in the bathroom?
I don't remember anyone saying what [I] was doing in the bathroom.
Basically, since the answer is 'yes' in many situations, I voted yes.
And, why is it so bad to tell someone how 'ripped ya were last night, brah' in the bathroom? Does it matter what yer talkin about? I mean, does a person have to retreat to the shadows to discuss the extent of the previous nights ripping? If they aren't embarassed about it, then they probably aren't in place where it matters (like a college bathroom), and if that's the case.... then ease up.
Besides, there's nothing stopping you from telling them to shut their piehole at full volume. Tell them they're disturbing your public with their privacy.

Re: Do you answer your cell phone in the bathroom?
Nah, it's more the other way around. Follow me on this one.
- When I'm there, I'm there for bidness, and I'm most certain that I came to the right place.
- When someone else is there, it's fair to assume they came for some bidness of their own, and by walking in they imply consent to witness other people's bidness.
- When they bring someone along, meaning virtually, there's a cross of the implied consent decree as to whether or not the sweet sounds of bidness are welcome in the third person's ears. In essense, your bidness becomes their bidness, and since it is unsolicited bidness, you're spamming your bidness.
- I certainly don't want to be in the spam bidness. So if the conversation goes on and on, I'm holding my bidness.
- But I came in because I most certainly had some bidness pending, and I'm certain that I came to the right place.
So there you have it. Stall talkers beware, I'm going to ask to talk to your caller, and going to ask for an opt-in. Once I get it, it's show time.

Re: Do you answer your cell phone in the bathroom?
I think the point evo was trying to make with the "I was so riiiped last night, brah" comment is "Congratulations, you are in college and you drank yourself to sleep last night. You are that much cooler for drinking last night because hey, no one gets drunk in college."

I can't believe how many weirdos are saying they talk on the phone when they're in the crapper.

Two things:
I have had guys talking to customers in the stall next door. I have thought about letting the caller know where we are >:-) A trumpet-like sound would be great
