I hate "monster in the dark" stuff. Right now I'm playing Bioshock and I can't play for very long because of villains jumping out of dark smoke at me.

Oh, no, not the Antlion guardian. I hate that thing so much! That part was definitely the part that had me on the edge of my seat...

And do you mean the part when Alyx is being asked by Eli about... you know... yeah. Scary stuff.

Half Life 1 back when I was like, 8 or something. I swear to Darwin, I nearly went in my pants. Stupid flashlight battery...always dying when I was in the vents...

Bioshock was somewhat scary.

STALKER is definitely a scary one for me. I don't really know why...

HL2 in Ravenholm was...well, if you've played, you know...

hmm what else...?

Mass Effect kind of was, just for making me truly realise how insignificant everything we hold dear is.

I've probably played some other doosies, but I just have blocked them out :P

The second scariest part is when you go into the lab and they have zombies and mutated soilders and then a scientist accedentily presses the button and they get released and your watching from a upstairs glass window and they claw at the door rip the scientists to pieces and when you start to run away from the window (in cutscene) you hear *RIP* *BANG* and then a alarm goes off and you go back to playable and you turn around to like 5 mutated soilders and 20 zombies then the experimentel Monster

After working up the courage i tried these two missions agian and almost crapped my pants because i accedently put diffulculty to insane and took the game back and traded it for Sims

I've never played Wolfenstein, but after hearing this I think I might...

Bioshock.... the beginning (when the lights suddenly turn on) completely freaked me out.

The Undying. Something about it being on an older engine still didn't take away the isolation you felt when playing the game. I remember getting that same feeling when playing through system shock 2.

Doom3 squandered its scary factor when the repetition of enemies spawning behind you was used constantly.

The one that got me was in some pipe area when a pipe explodes (shock), you slowly move forward, and then she comes hauling ass crawling right towards you.
