Re: Watching Heroes?
I dunno about nathan being dead, he could have just as easily dropped him from the upper atmosphere and got away. I think he may have somehow lived through it. I liked his part so i'm hoping they keep him around.
No clue about peter, I don't know how they are gonna explain that one. |

Re: Watching Heroes?
They've been saying that Peter can survive because of his regenerative ability. In the dark future episode, he blew up and had regenerated then (blamed on Sylar to protect that politically inconvenient fact), so I fully assume it's possible for him now. Granted, I don't know how you regenerate from subatomic particles, but hey... it's a comic.
As for Nathan, while I believe he could have fled the blast fairly easily, I think the implication was that he'd be dosed with lethal radiation during the flight carrying Peter. Again, he could survive by some miraculous explanation. Now my question... why didn't Peter just fly away himself? I'm guessing the rationale is that he was spending all his effort at holding off the explosion as long as possible. At any rate, I bet they're both back next season. EDIT: Oh, and as for Sylar blood trail. I'm sure he's dead. I think his body was dragged off by someone to be revealed next season. Somehow related to the 'worse' bad guy? Just a sewer dwelling super? Is the roach a clue?

Re: Watching Heroes?
This isn't the first time a roach has appeared. There was also one when Sylar and peter fell multiple stories at homecoming. And I'm pretty sure there was one when Suresh thought he had killed Sylar in his apartment. I think the roach is just symbolism of Sylar's survivability... or maybe a power? Anyways, it is definitely supposed to tie in with what Suresh said in the first episode about how roaches could survive things that humans couldn't, or whatever the exact words were. Hmmmm... was there a roach when Sylar was dead on the operating table in Bennet's lab place?

Re: Watching Heroes?
I Hiro will be a direct descendant of Kinsei in one way or another. I have to admit that the little we saw of the actor (mostly the eyes) looked very much like George Takei. It would be interesting to know if the eclipse was the result of a "power" being used or a natural event.
So, who thinks Peter (and possibly Nathan) are still alive? There are conceivable ways to explain each surviving the blast... |

Re: Watching Heroes?
I had a thought, The other guy that molly talked about seeing her when she tried to see him could be simone's father since he saw peter when he was invisible watching the past. That was a bit of a cryptic scene though but just a thought.

Re: Watching Heroes?
I wonder if Kinsei *is* Hiro's father, simply long lived. Didn't he reveal to Hiro that he has power? But was it ever revealed?
Many cans of worms this ending and epilogue has opened.

Re: Watching Heroes?
I hope the villain is beautiful (male or female) and full of benevolence, not unlike Linderman. Remember that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. The best villains are the ones that have only your best interests (in their minds) at heart.
I continue to think that Stalin and Hitler fit this mold, and it was their twisted altruism that made them truly evil. Did anyone else see the parallel between Skylar and Norman Bates? The continuing message I see in this series is the importance of family, not just with the heroes but also with the villains. (Skylar was shaped by his relationship with his mother.) How will that theme manifest itself next season?

Re: Watching Heroes?
I liked last night's show. I'm still curious about Suresh's family and wonder if they'll just not bother ressurrecting that storyline. I'm excited for the next season. Did Peter and Nathan's mother ever show her power? Do we have reason to believe that she does have power? Just wondering if I missed something there and wondering if the writers will include her next season.

Re: Watching Heroes?
A great season and I'll definitely be watching the next season. 24 episodes ordered for next season plus 6 episodes of the Heroes spinoff Origins.
