Re: TG vs BF2C on EGLN

I forgot Bibi posted end of round screenshots over at BF2C (with individual peoples scores).

If you want to see it I belive the BF2C vs TG forum is public and its under Special Events/BF2C vs. Tactical Gamer (Dec. 9th) the thread is Results, Rebroadcast!

But the final Ticket counts were
Karkand Round 1, BF2C=mec: BF2C won by 139 tickets
Karkand Round 2, TG=mec: TG won by 29
Kubra Round 1, BF2C=mec: BF2C won by around 172 tickets
Kubra Round 2, TG=mec: BF2C won by around 75 tickets

Re: TG vs BF2C on EGLN

I just watched the first campaign.

The announcers did an excellent job.

BF2C hade a good strategy for their Defense of Karkand.

When defending, the map is yours to lose.

Both sides illustrated this by performing very well.
BF2C putting the lock down at Hotel.

And TG, after losing the West side, simply holding firm and defending the assest flags. Nice win Sassy. Bom had good comentary by noticing the ticket count that TG was making up in the last quater of the match. Good suspence.

I liked BF2C inital deployment as the Corp. The excellent camera crew picked up one Marine spawing in and acting as a look at over the eastern location of Hotel in order to take out any AT kits while a friendly heavy jeep made their way through the train tracks.
Good engineer work by TG 7thPhonixx to retard the advance with a mine in the water.

Notice how Sassy got first in points and the announcers missed it. But they gave her MVP before the match ended so that was good awarness there.

Re: TG vs BF2C on EGLN

Finished up K. Damn.

A nice Dog and Pony show presented by BF2C here with their air support. TG rarely plays that map. All doubts were put down on who the better team was for the scrim at the conclusion of these two rounds. BF2C really knew how to finesse that map something fierce.

I was disappointed in the announcers not focusing on the all important initial deployment. Instead, a first knife or AED pad kill was focused on. I’ll have to watch it again to get a better understanding of the initial deployment.
Besides this, they once again did a great job. The Camera man did well also.

BF2C really was able to get that air support going, allowing the infantry to move around unimpeded.

I was disappointed that both the TG and BF2C Ambassadors were not able to get the rules clearly defined. Appeared to be some confusion.

It appeared that BF2C were not effectively using the VOIP with the two TKs that involved a friendly stealing a jet. Things were happening fast, so it would be hard to get the message to the pilot in time regardless.
Also, good engineer work with the tanks.
Also, really aggressive playing that got the job done, as announced by Bomm.

I like how the announcers gave the Corp Gunship the team MVP. Just like on Monday… I mean Sunday night Football.

Like E-male said on the AAR thread, This will be big time future aspects into this. I can really see this being something huge in the next five years.
Awesome stuff EGLN.

PS. It would be good for the announcers to let us know how much time is left in the match.

Re: TG vs BF2C on EGLN

How does one go about getting their scrim broadcasted like that? I noticed that they feature CSS matches, it'd be cool to get other TG games out into the public.
