Re: Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat tonight!

I wish I had my CD still. I know I have BFV around, but I haven't seen my 1942 since about 1942.

We could definitely get BFV in some sort of retro event. I have that game somewhere too!

I haven't really thought about doing silly rules night, but it is something we could entertain. I'm not sure what kind of turnout we would see though.
True, we'll have to fish around the BF2/2142 forums. I'm sure quite a few would be interested. Possibly a good subject for a poll? I'll stop hijacking the thread now. Hopefully see you later this evening for some DC.

Sorry, didn't see that second post with your times. If I make it - should be around the same time, 1830-1930 CDT.

Re: Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat tonight!

I got one CTD so far. When I crashed there were already 4 other players playing with me on the server.

Re: Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat tonight!

I'm hoping going thru this will fix my CTD's. I got it installed and it did say PB needed updates for BF1942.

Re: Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat tonight!

So far so good after doing that PB manual update. Is FF on? It didn't appear to be.

It's amazing how much I love these games graphics. If the gameplay is even anywhere close to what I remember, I may have to keep this installed for a while. Way too cool! I'm so pumped about tonight.
