Happy Holidays TG and our Armed Forces

I would to wish everyone here a very Merry Christmas. The holiday season is a time for family and friends to get together and share the time together.

In your prayers this time of the season please remember all of the men and women that have given their lives to give us this freedom to share with each other the things that we take for granted. Think of the members of our Armed Forces that will not be able to share a time of peace with their families for they are in harms way.

Indeed. And consider sending a care package out that way, too. There are dozens of organizations that are accepting donations and the simplest little things are so appreciated over there! Buy a case of your favorite candy bar and you'll make an entire squad smile for days...

Re: Happy Holidays TG and our Armed Forces

If you and your family are celebrating Chanukah at this time of year, Shalom!

Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, is a celebration of the victory of the Maccabees and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple. It also commemorates the miracle of the oil that burned for 8 days

If you and your family are celebrating Kwanzaa at this time of year, Kwanzaa yenu iwe na heri!

Kwanzaa is a 7 day festival celebrating the African American people, their culture and their history. It is a time of celebration, community gathering, and reflection. A time of endings and beginnings. Kwanzaa begins on December 26th and continues until New Years Day, January 1st.

If you and your family are celebrating Christmas at this time of year, Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a festival celebrating birth of Jesus Christ: a Christian festival marking the birth of Jesus Christ.December 25. It is also a time for Families, Fun, and Festivities! A time of family gatherings and holiday meals. A time for Santa, stars, and singing carolers. A time for ornaments, gifts, and twinkling lights. Of sleigh rides, hot cocoa, and gingerbread cookies

If you do not celebrate anything at this time of year then enjoy your time off doing whatever makes you the happiest.

Regardless of the season or the celebration, please remember that its always important to spend time with your families and closest friends. Be safe, happy and healthy. Take care of each other and enjoy the company of loved ones all year round, not just during the holidays.

Enjoy the season everyone!

Susan

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others
