Have to back out of this one. It seems the wife didn't know that women actually played this and would be attending the party. If all of you were grossly over weight IT guys then it would have been ok. Sorry.

wife is having a disc in her back..way down on #5 worked over the tuesday before this event..i am hosed..i can only imagine what would happen if:

1) i took off for the weekend and left her hurting and messed up on pain killers with the 5-yr old...

2) if i brought said 5-yr old with me to the event...

looks like i am doomed for this one guys

Rincewind and I may have figured a way for me to attend. I'll be pretty limited in my ability to participate in some activities, but I can be there.

hmm i know i just joined the TG like 2 weeks ago but would like to come. seeing i live in Austin already and have weekends off, would be fun, last lan party i went to was quakecon XD
