Moving To A New Apartment - Internet Question?
I'm moving to a new apartment! My new place is actually in the same building as my old apartment.
Can I keep my current e-mail address, IP address, etc. when I move into my new place? I have not moved in ten years so I don't quite know the protocol.
Anyone move recently and have any suggestions?|TG-9th| TheFatKidDeath

Re: Moving To A New Apartment - Internet Question?
Usually, it's really easy depending on your ISP. You're e-mail address should be the same, you're IP usually resets any time you reset your cable modem anyway, and to get set up I'm sure it will only take a phone call to your internet provider to let them know about your new address.

If you keep the same ISP moving will not be a problem. All will follow you.
