Yeah, all I played was a dom map and I didn't like it at all. I'll give it a second chance and check out an ii map.

The only ii level I played was ii_deadcow, a very unique level design (but kinda gross). It's very NS like as far as building goes, but not much of the "bunny hopping all over the place" thing. Alot has to do with placement of where you're defending at.

Blackwhitehawk, myself, and nhammen (drake), went ahead and gave the game a go together. We buddied up on BWH's vent server and had a blast. Only reason we lost was because our npc's stopped working and our queen wouldn't eat resources anymore. beyond that, it was alot of fun and planning out tactics turned out pretty good.

This game is really growing on me. It enforces team work alot, especially when I found how powerful a builder can be against a heavy soldier (just drop poop in front of them, sticks them in place so that regular soldiers can bombard them with acid).

Patch 1.0.3 is now out:

the patch really helped a few things but still interested to see how they're going to get over the huge physics hurdle ahead of them.

I've spoken to Apophis, and we're looking into the possibility of setting up a server, so that our SM's can play with this on the C&E server.

Watch this space for any developments.

*cheers* This mod has great TG potential.

I can already see people complaining about a no-bunny hopping rule but honestly... Jumping takes stamina. People know where you will land. You move slower. Why would you want to bunny hop/crack jump anyway?
