Find your Presidential match
I saw this on the PoE forums and thought it was worth posting here:
http://www.selectsmart.com/plus/sele...08frontrunners You tell them where you stand on 17 issues, and how important each issue is to you. It then computes which candidate best fits your views. It also has a handy comparitor where you can view candidates stances on the issues in side-by-side windows. (comparison uses direct quotes and links to references - seems very nonpartisan)

Yeah, that's more or less right. I'd give Clark a 10% handicap, but the rest is pretty accurate. A little surprised to see Kucinich in there.

And why's Condoleeza on there? I thought she wasn't going to run at all.

Re: Find your Presidential match
The results set matched my candidate preferences - Obama on top Brownback on the bottom. We should get rid of the electoral college and implement a voting wizard like this. lol
I was very surprised to see Condi Rice on the results set. I didn't see a question on the list that said "Do you favor the suspension of presidential term limits in a time of war?" |

I will not vote for a Democrat or Republican anyway, but it doesn't matter since my state Electoral College votes will go Republican like they have since . Neither party has the public's best interest in mind. Also I'm from Kansas and met Brownback, I hope he gets nut cancer. |

That's because I hate both! And with Rice I strongly disagree on several issues, yet stongly disagree with Ron Paul on zero. Yet she's my '100%' match?? I'd say it's pretty good though. The only person I want president less than McCain is indeed Clinton. Or is it the other way around?? And I've always liked Richardson. And of course Paul. And yes, the top teir 1 candidate for me would be Obama.

Re: Find your Presidential match
I took a similar test for Government and it told everyone in the class how far left wing right wing our class was. Needless to say I was a bit happy to see that alot of people were more liberal than they thought they were
No longer just jumping on the coattails of their parents.

I woulda put Clinton at the bottom, because im seriously considering leaving the country if she is elected. I get to vote in the next presidential election ![]() |
