The odd part was that this happened at the same time I updated firefox. I restarted FF and suddenly everyone was talking in thought balloons.

I personally love the quote balloons, I hope this prevents having quotes within quotes, one of my pet peeves.
A little of topic, a cool feature would be to see if you were quoted. That's personally what I look for
