I guess you forget how utterly commercialized our childhoods were. I remember having TONS of Star Wars/Transformers/Battlestar Galactica/ET stuff. But I guess back then movie stuff was endorsed on everything, now it's the other way around.

True, true. I remember toys for cartoons comin out before the actual cartoon came out. (some sorta bug riders cartoon comes to mind first)

Wow, that actually looks... pretty... cool. I wonder if the classic W-CH-CH-KPT sound they embedded in that one transformation is actually in the film, of just a trailer cue.

thats the token transformers sound. if they didnt put it in the actual movie, there would be a lot of pissed off transformers fans.
