So far, it's in the film. Transformers has actually tested really high in the early screenings (and those people report the classic transformation sound is in there). I'm actually getting my hopes up (especially after Spiderman was such a bummer).

So it must take place in Detroit or something, huh? If it took place here in SA, the Transformers would be Honda Civics with lots of decals, fart-can mufflers, little wheels that pop out the sides of the car, neon lights, and a generic hispanic surname written in Old English letters on the back windshield. Seriously...that's just great eye candy no matter how you slice it, and what can a movie about transformers be without totally awesome choreographed giant robot action death fights...

Oh and the scenes in Matrix 2 with the cars were a lot better that the movie itself you must admit >.>
