New low: 1% That's about 8 or 9 states and Canada.

The Big C is the only one that visited Belgium! Need to visit South America, and I might visit the US, when the airport security is back to a reasonable privacy respecting level.

Damn, I was hoping you'd visit during my lifetime.

Note: I have been to Belgium, even though it was only overnight.

Hmm...It would seem that I have been restricted to stay within the 'Union' so far.

At only 2%, I need to get out more. And what Icky said.

But on the other hand, I've been places that most people will never see, much less hear about. I've walked the streets and alleys of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; rode daily in their crazy "tap-tap" taxies, packed to the brim like a sardine can of humanity; and seen the sights of such rual areas as Port-de-Paix, Gonaïves, Jacmel (some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen), Saint-Marc, and Cap Haïtien. It was a blast and I'd do it all over again in heartbeat. I’d post pictures but I haven’t scanned any of them in yet. I really should get busy on that...

Wheeee!

Yep, never left the country, heh. (But I've been through most of it)

Favorite place: Buena Vista, Colorado

Least favorite: I-70 though Kansas

Born in Ohio, lived in Texas and now Arizona. Visited DC. I also went a mile deep into Mexico for a soccer match, only to be pantsed in the middle of the field. I still remember the laughs and random Spanish gibberish that i couldn't understand. Needless to say, i am not going back unless i want something illegal.

8%, not too bad. Looks like I need to go somewhere where everyone isn't white, eh?

Having just flown through Amsterdam last week, I can confirm that EU security is much more invasive than US security.

AND they pissed me off by taking my bottle of duty free Amarula from me! They said it might actually be some sort of liquid explosives! I think they just wanted it for their coffee break room...

You are soo right! I do not know how many airports I have had follow on searches in where I heavily circumspected. They ask a whole lot more questions and have tons more security to boot. That being said, there is nothing like the lines in the US for thier lesser security. Why is that?

FYI the only reason I went to Belguim was for a conference!
