I left setting the time up to Root to better accommodate our Euro buddies. I'll be around most of the day doing odds and sods so it really doesn't matter to me when we start... Although I was thinking about going to see that new Spider Man movie - maybe catch a matinée or something.

BB had the Dawn of War Gold Edition with Winter Assault for 20 bucks. I picked it up. Is there anything else I need?
I played through the tutorial. This game is pretty complicated, but is fun. I would prefer some co-op games before I think about going head-to-head.

The only other thing you might need is the Dark Crusade expansion. It is the creame of the crop and compliments the other two games with another 2 races and improvements to game logic that aren't present in the first two. It's the best DoW iteration to date (and also currently the most played, I've noticed). It's a most worthy addition to any DoW collection.
