fyi I have updated the teamspeak wiki entry with the information in the original post. there were a fair amount of links to that page from forums and other wiki pages.

Hmm I'm at 1.5.0.10 under Ubuntu. I haven't tried it yet under Windows. I suspect it will work fine since I am running FF 2.0 and it seems to work for everyone else.

I think that's an optional server setting to keep people from spoofing admins by adding (SA) after their name. A lot of stupid admins were getting their servers usurped by people logging in with that. The admin would go "wtf?!" and toggle SA on that user, which would give them SA, and then the miscreant would delete the real SA's account and take over the server.

Send a PM to asch or Apophis that includes what you want your new name to be, and they should take care of it.

I find myself curious about the how of this integration? Am I correct in saying that if you delete a forum account, the change is passed to the TS server as well (i.e. they can't log in anymore)? This would make it infinitely easier to manage TS for the EVE Alliance I'm a part of, heh. Would love to get some info (if only in the form of a nudge toward some good how-to's) on how I could do this on my own stuff.

As a somewhat off-topic aside, I'm glad to be here. Have played on a few TG servers in BF2142 and CoD4, always good fun since people actually play as a team, and teamwork is always what my friends and I have been about. Looking forward to meeting up with you all in ArmA2 and maybe some CoD4.

I seem to be having an issue...I am using TS3, do I need to Down grade?

E: After further investigation, I noticed V3 is Beta. Ok then. All set.

E2: Ok...spoke to soon...Can't seem to DL TS2 and TS3 is an odd set up... can someone tell me the Address and port number? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I've been looking for the past 2 hours...I'm still a bit new to the forums...but its not in any of the (Seemingly) obvoius places...

E3: Yeah.....This is not working for me.....do you need to update your TS to V3?

The download link on our Teamspeak Setup page is now incorrect as TG currently relies on version 2.

The version 2 TS client can be found here...

Now you've lost me.. What is Bravo? What is the Sync guide? Are these ArmA-II thingies?
