Re: Snoring and Breathe Right

for those of you that snore a lot, make sure you are not suffering from sleep apnea. the two are often related. my father suffered some pretty serious brain damage from it and is now blind in part of each eye due to the lack of oxygen to his visual cortex.

Re: Snoring and Breathe Right

I'll have to consult my live-in night time sleep breathing monitor to see if she thinks it is sleep apnea. She did verify that no significant snoring events happened last night.

Re: Snoring and Breathe Right

I used them for a while back while I was still in High School, but only a box or two total. They did help, not sure why I stopped using them other than I was too lazy to go out and buy them.

My Cousin-in-law works for the company that Produces Breath-Right, I remember him saying a christmas or two ago that they were under some rough times.

I think im going to pick up a box of these tomorrow though, see how they work nowdays.

Re: Snoring and Breathe Right

Second night, I feel more rested but my fiance worked all night so I can't confirm the snore part.

I must say, you can certainly tell a difference in breathing as soon as you put on the strip. Didn't snore once all night, this is crazy.

This is good to hear. I've been sleeping great, although I had to get up much too early this morning to appreciate the sleep.

Second this. My mother had to wear a heart monitor for a week. They found a problem (sic sinus syndrome or something like that). But they found out her heart was stopping for seconds at a time because of sleep apnea!

True, she has a condition that lends itself to heart "pauses" but the doctor told her that sleep apnea puts a serious strain on the heart.

Take snoring seriously.
