The playoffs are a joke no more! Wow, did anyone just watch the Cleveland/Detroit game in double overtime? LeBron James was brilliant to say the least. He scored 48 and 25 in a row at the end and 29 of their last 30 leading them to victory. "One of the greatest performances in playoff history"

I started watching that game pretty much as soon as James went crazy. This guy is definitely the next Michael Jordan.

I haven't watched any of the playoffs since the NBA commission handed the Spurs the win against the suns in 6.

Though I will be keeping tabs on the championship series.

First time I'll be rooting for an Eastern Conference team. But, I have no choice seeing as how I have disavowed EVER rooting for San Antonio at all EVER....even if they're playing against the Lakers.

Oh, and you know those twins that used to protect Wayne Gretsky? D'Antoni (sp?) should get them to play for the Suns and protect Nash

Wow, you mean people actually take basketbrawl seriously?

I guess if I were into rap and gangsta crap I would, but I didn't think well educated people actually took it seriously.

That game is on my top five best playoff list. it was excellent, he just needs some help in the off season, some good sidekicks and hes on his way.

Football, college and pro.

Personally, I don't like baseball either. Haven't watched a game since the last strike....and I live in MA.....don't tell the other MA people

It's just at the opposite end of the racial food-chain.

Things that make you go "hmmmm:"
Why are largely caucasian sports allowed free reign when it comes to "thuggish" activities on the playing surface?? i.e. baseball and hockey. Yet in basketball and football you cant FART w/o getting a huge fine, ejection, and/or suspension. "hmmmmm"

(they actually spoke about this on ESPN today)

I am sure you are talking about the fact that hockey players are allowed to fight, right? Well yeah they are and they need to so no one ends up getting killed. Hockey players carry sticks and engage in a very physical sport. They are allowed to police themselves unlike basketball. Basketball players can't seem to understand how to police their own game which is too bad. That's why you have that ridicules rule about no one getting off the bench during an altercation. It's not racial at all.

Hockey players are also the most accessible pro athletes in all of pro sports. So how are they "thuggish" off the ice?

Which sport has the most players in jail, or even been arrested? You can't say the NBA is "an extension of thug life" and then not say the same about football.
