World of Warcraft:

For those of you interested, the stress test sign up is now open to non subcribers of fileplanet. The test will last one week and will begin at an unannounced date (most likely once they have a sufficient amount of testers, probably in a couple of days).

The sign up is first come first serve, so head on over to http://www.fileplanet.com and sign up now. MMO and warcraft fans alike should give this game a try. Its blizzard, they make great games as far as im concerned, so can't go wrong with trying the game for free.

The client download is pretty large (2,260.5 MB) (sorry 56kers ) and is available here http://www.fileplanet.com/download.aspx?f=144890. Sign up PRIOR to downloading the client to make sure you get your unique key which will be needed to create an account to be used during the test.

FREE Signups for World of Warcraft Stress Test Beta Now Open!
Anyone interested in getting an advance look at World of Warcraft can now sign up for a chance to participate in the upcoming World of Warcraft stress test beta! While thousands of test slots were snatched up by FilePlanet subscribers during the priority-access period earlier this week, thousands more remain available. However, potential testers must sign up quickly, because the remaining test slots will be distributed on a first come, first served basis until they’ve all been claimed.
The stress test beta, which will start soon after all 100,000+ test slots have been assigned, will help Blizzard evaluate World of Warcraft’s account-creation process and server performance under heavy loads. This seven-day test will be separate from the ongoing World of Warcraft closed beta test, but stress testers will have access to all of the game content that closed-beta testers are currently playing.
