I am ONLY ok with a re-draft IF the draft order is rerandomized. Otherwise I am happy with the way it is. I have commished a league before and it is simple to reorder the draft. I know we are all gamers but a redo? weak. I think if the draft isn't reordered people can change drafts based on mistakes made in first once!

Meatwad, I'm not sure if the situation has been expalined accurately. The problem is not that any individual made a mistake. Yahoo bugged, and caused at least one team to be autodrafted because essentially, two drafts took place. Since most of the folks left before we discovered this issue, there could potentially be more teams. The one team we know was screwed was one of the weaker ones drafted and had some fundamental flaws that the owner noticed right away.

As happy as I am with my draft, I got more, quality players than I expected, I can not think of another fair solution. Even considering it looks like a weekend draft, which will be difficult for me to attend, I think it's the only way for us to go that is fair. If you can think of another soultion that is fair, let me know, but as of this point, I can not.

On a side note, is there ANYONE who would consider a weekday draft? Is there someone who works second shift to make this impossible? If not, I know it might not be convenient, but I bet everyone is at least home during the week. I pulled a few more strings than I wanted to to attend the first weekend draft and I don't think I have enough strings left to do a second weekend so soon.

I can do weekend and any weekday AFTER 6:00pm on weekdays.

And I'm fine with a re-draft, but I do think that we should re-randomize the draft order.

Ok... I have heard enough feedback here for me to go ahead and tell Yahoo! we would like our draft to be reset. As soon as I am able to look at the available times, I'll try to give some options (which we would have to move on QUICK).

And of course, the order will once again be randomized... though giving up LT may be hard!

Hey guys,

OK... we are finally getting somewhere. Several items to note in this update:

1. The tentative NEW draft date is Sunday, September 2, 2007. The time will be the same, 5:00 pm. I say tentative because I know some are opposed to the weekends due to work related issues. I for one would be willing to do a draft during the week. I think the best day for a weeknight would be on a Wednesday, probably 7-9 pm. Guys, we have 12 guys. Sunday worked the first time and because of the GREAT lack of input on some of this, I will only change the time a weeknight if I can get AT LEAST 6 people telling me a night, as Wednesday, would work. But we HAVE to move quick. We could get in on the 22nd or 29th as of right now for a Wednesday.

2. I have asked Yahoo! to delete the free league, as this no longer pertains to us and so that we will NOT have the same confusion this time around as we did the first time. So to be clear, the PLUS league will be the ONLY league available within 24-48 hours.

3. Two people have still not payed and therefore their teams are still locked. They are: "YOU LACK INTENSITY" and "Dragoons". Please pay ASAP.

Perhaps all of the updates should be concentrated in one spot. Pfeil has already said that Wednesday is not good for them on the league chat. I suggest this thread as the spot to do all of this. Wouldn't it be best to just have each person post the evening of next week that they can not do? Once everyone has posted we will know if a weekday is even feasible.
