Okay I make up my mind to purchase and the server doesn't work now. Maybe this is why I don't usually buy from Ubisoft.

I bought my copy as a direct download from Ubisoft and haven't had any problems with the game or connecting to the TG server. There are a few patches, one was rather large, that you might need for multiplayer games. If you're patched up to the latest version, I've found that Ubisoft's support website has answers to a lot of the common problems players have experienced with GRAW 2. Originally Posted by kin3

I’m not exactly sure, but it seemed massive and took quite a long time. It was one of those that I let run overnight. Now that I think about it that might be the only patch. I have been having my issues as well..8-10 phone calls a day ranting to the techs and asking for tier 2 support seemed to get the job done though..I was out of playing for 5 days before they caved in and replaced $50K in equipment for me! hahahaha

Stay WAY away from STEAM..they did refund my money, and today I am going to Best Buy not too far away to re-purchase a hard copy...
Also is available from Direct2drive as well..but I have never tried them out, but I believe Killdaddy said something about it being fine.

yeah, it's technically what Ubisoft uses, though slightly different since Ubi itself doesn't let you pay via paypal.
