Sorta new to the whole 'slow thing'
First thing:
I'm getting "unknown errors" when loading custom maps. I'm able to create a server just fine with thte custom maps, but I can't join TG server.
I'm sorta new to the whole 'slow' thing. I can manage it if I have smoke grenades, but if I suck for the first few times, it's just me transitioning from 2142 to GRAW2.
Any pointers (besides crouching) anyone can give me?
So far, my only SOP thus far is:
1) Always crouch
2) Always lean
3) If I feel tempted to run, eat some cake and come back.Last edited by Fruvous; 09-24-2009 at 03:52 PM.

Re: Sorta new to the whole 'slow thing'
He had me scratching my head last night! The only problem I have is if I'm still trying to give a sitrep on TS while I'm respawning and we eliminated TS as the reason. If it was a driver issue then he shouldn't have been able to join any of the maps. If the map files are corrupted then they shouldn't work on his individual server. The maps have been tested and any with known issues have been avoided. SO I'm missing something as he is having a problem and I can't identify the source.
We should start taking screenies of the "unhandled" exceptions we are getting and post with the known associations.

Double check your maps. If you have the same maps twice but a different version, delete the older version. I try to keep those listed in the forums so you know which to delete. I have close to 75 or maps in my custom levels folder and have to watch which conflicts with which.
