My boss at work stopped by my office and asked if I bought a 360 again last night (he does this about twice a week). He swears a 360 is worth owning just to play this game. In fact, USATODAY gave that version a rating of 9 1/2 out of 10 stars, which I imagine is a rarity.

I'm starting to actually get psyched about the PC version (the last console I bought was Dreamcast, btw, long after it was dead...I think it cost me $20 or something, heh. It's good for the neighborhood kids to play SOUL CALIBER or DEMOLITION RACER on).

Hopefully the PC version wont be anything like the 360 version, besides graphics. They are beautiful. The 360 version isn't to realistic, it is fun but nothing like the original Ghost Recon. I think most of us are hoping for a newer Ghost Recon that is refined and looks nice. One where everyone's life counts and you cant heal your guys instantly when they take one for the team.

It's worth mentioning that the original Ghost Recon was not a tactical wonderland either. If you go to the pubs and play MP or Coop, you'll still see a predominance of run-and-gun tactics. I think the biggest concern with GRAW will be whether or not TG can run the server in a way that rewards TG's dedicated teamplay style, which means the pace, linear/non-linear gamestyle, and capability to support large Coop teams is important.

I think with the group of old GR players and the new ones we have now, we can mold it anyway we want to do for GRAW. Leadership will make run and gun game TG style


My only concern is what are the specs for it?
