Bhack, mine seems to run fine on default settings...I even bumped my resolution up to 1280x1024. When I used a lower setting, say 1024x768, everything got real "blocky". It seems that if you're running other than native resolution, the game doesn't like it so much. Still playing though.

P4 3.4Ghz
2GB RAM
Radeon 9800XT

Re: Demo now...

I've seen a few reports of people playing well enough with 9800's and 6600's. I'm thinking a 6800 will be quite fine.

Redleg, which "P4" do you have? 3.4GHz? Slower?

Re: Demo now...

I have my 6600 on pretty much all low settings and am able to at least play. It's not pretty, and I don't know the FPS, but I'm able to play and shoot at dudes (at least when eggplant doesn't kill them before I see em!)

On everything that you can set at max in the demo Fraps is reporting avg of 40 fps, it runs quite smoothly and looks phenomenal. My only complaint is mouse sluggishness, but it seems others are having the same "issue" (not sure if it's by design or not lol).
Definately more of a demand than BF2, CoD2 and RO are. But again it is the "future of gaming"?

If the game is released with MP and is on TG, I will snag it fer sure.
This game runs a lot faster than BF2 and loads a lot faster. Environment is much smaller.

Tom!!! How are you buddy!?

Hey gang I haven't figured out how to get fps to show yet, but I have everything maxxed out and it's running pretty smoothly.

P4 3.4
2 gigs ram
800xt
X-fi sound

Oh and it looks like a terrific game.

Re: Demo now...

I have an
AMD Athlon 2800+
ATI X800pro
1gb ram
Audigy 2

and can run the demo well on 1280x1024 all high and 8x AF.
I had some sound problems (gun fire repeating endlessly, no music, no sound at all) but after disabling EAX those problems were gone.

Re: Demo now...

I'm about to dive into it as soon as i post this...
They really shouldn't make games THIS demanding.

It's advanced technology. If they didn't make games more demanding we'd still be playing games like Pong and Pac-Man.

Re: Demo now...

2GB PC400 gskill
2.8GHz P4 HT
6600 256mb

Doesn't run well at all. Ran in 1024x768, and low settings, still looks ok, but fps has to be below 30 for sure. Of course my bottleneck is my poo gpu.

The 9700 isn't far from the 6600GT performance wise. Should be okay.
