    GRAW 2 beta thoughts?

    Okay people... everyone knows the beta is out. So those who are playing what do you think of it? I got a key and am DLing the client as we speak so I'm curious what others feel about the game.

    I wasnt too keen on GRAW but GRAW2 might "fill in the blanks."

    I got accepted into Beta too! Remember you agreed to a NDA when signing up, so we are not allowed to share information here.

    Please remember this beta test is private. You have agreed on not sharing any information, screenshot and/or video taken from the beta version with non-beta testers.

    There's a difference between sharing "thoughts" and sharing information. If you dont know the difference, then of course... do not reply with your rendition of either hehe

    As for MY thoughts, it's tough to get an impression right now because it's a very slimmed down sample. You only get to test the new multiplayer match (assault vs. recon). I like the idea of this match as it emphasizes tactics and cooperation. The horrid deathmatches in GRAW1 left a bad taste in my mouth. Anyways, graphically there's an improvement as well - less orange and red everywhere so far.

    I never played GRAW1, but the taste in my mouth isn't really describable from GRAW2 beta. I go back and forth on it. One thing I don't like is the marking affect that lets you see enemy troops after they get marked by someone's cursor. It's nearly impossible to stay alive once that happens as everyone descends on you...

    Actually, the beta also includes team DM... just depends on the server. I'm not too keen on the "spotting" aspect either but it IS justified in a modern combat sense (to some degree). I place the game between 2142 and Arma.

    It seems like it has better performance then the original GRAW. But still some stupid stuff, cant sort the server list.
